Renee Ortiz of Renee Ortiz Studios.
Our interview with Renee:
Where are you from originally? I'm originally a So Cal girl, but I have spent the last 20 years raising and homeschooling my kids in the Nor Cal wine country--Windsor.
How long have you been in Newport Beach? I've been in CDM for the past 3 years.
Tell us a little bit about your family? I have three kids--all grown. My oldest son is pursuing his PhD at Baylor in microbiology, and getting married in July. My other son just completed his Master's in American Politics...

Helen MacKinnon of Helen Kathleen Designs.
Helen grew up in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles, but has called Corona del Mar home for the past 20 years. Helen and her husband, Tom, started their family in 2002 with the birth of their twin boys, Owen and Cole. Since that time the family have not stopped moving--involved in all areas of school and sports, and of course family!
As an elementary school teacher Helen enjoyed the creative aspects of her job, and has always had an eye for design and style...and a special love for jewelry and...
